This is a study on the effect of different soil treatments and maintenance methods on the yield and quality of the Italian Riesling grape variety, in field conditions. The study include 8 different soil maintenance methods in vineyards. Obtained results show that the greatest grape yield and must sugar content in vineyards are achieved with normal soil cultivation. This soil maintenance method gave the lowest must acid content. The lowest grape yield was achieved by applying herbicides to the entire area, while herbicides applied in strips gave the lowest must sugar content. At the same time, both variants of applying herbicides gave the greatest must acid content.
