This is a study on double crop sowing of soybeans and sunflowers, in 4 regions of Slavonija and Baronja (Yugoslavia), differing in climate and soil. Satisfactory yields and good quality seeds, which do not differ from those of crops sowed regularly, have been achieved. Oil content of sunflower, as a double crop, was about 42%, and irrigation did not reduce it in comparision with the control. Soybean, as a double crop, had about 20% oil in its seeds, both when grown with irrigation and without it. Seeds of sunflower, as a double crop, contained, on the average, about 13% protein, with and without irrigation. Seeds of soybean, as a double crop, contained somewhat more protein when grown with irrigation, on the average about 27%.
