The effect of different sunflower sowing periods on the following characteristics, have been studied: the length of the intermediate stage in the sunflower vegetation period, plant height, number of leaves per plant, diameter of the sunflower head, absolute seed weight, seed weight in hectoliters, percentage of shells, seed yield, seed yield per head and seed oiliness.
