Effect of MET (multi-effects triazole) on IAA-oxidase and endogenous IAA in rice (Oryza sativa)
1991

Soaking or spraying with 100-300 ppm MET (multi-effects triazole) was highly effective in controlling plant height and promoting tillering of rice seedling (indica and japonica varieties). The experimental result has shown the antagonism between MET and exogenous IAA on the growth of rice seedling. MET enhanced IAA-oxidase activity and reduced the content of endogenous IAA in rice seedling, thus affected the growth effect of exogenous IAA on rice seedling
