Study on TCA residue behaviour in soil, wheat and corn

TCA residues in soil, wheat and corn plants at different periods was studied in field and potting experiment. Result showed that TCA could be kept in the soil under field conditions for seven months; the highest TCA content was detected in seedling (trifoliate) stage of the plant. TCA content decreased rapidly with the plant growing, and a very small amount of TCA was detected in seed.
