An indept analysis and review of the performance and structure of the agricultural sector on the whole and of its performance in relation to the economy. Section four (4) analyses the present and past strategies and policies for agricultural development - investment stragegy, pricing, research policies. The final section presents the areas needing immediate address and some of the major tasks facing the agricultural sector.
