This experiment was conducted to establish rice-fish farming method on four fish species in paddy field with grown rice. Rice-fish farming in Korea can be practiced only during the four months from June to September. Water quality during the experiment was kept with good condition : the minimum water temperature was 12.8deg C, maximum water temperature was 31.5deg C, dissolved oxygen content was from 5.0 to 6.6 ppm and pH was from 6.9 to 8.2. Daily increased fish weight was high in high water temperature before August, but thereafter it was low. The recovery were 49.8 percentage for catfish, 61.4 percentage for israel carp and 91.6 percentage for tilapia in herbicide treatment plot. The total fish production were 126 Kg for catfish and 129 Kg for israel carp at stocking densities of 3,000 per 10a, and 272 Kg for tilapia at stocking densities of 1,500 per 10a. Rice yield in rice-fish farming was 485 to 517 Kg per 10a in herbicide treatment plot, but it was significantly reduced from 38 to 42 percentage without weed control, and it was 495 Kg per 10a in rice monoculture
