Pollen grains from 12 Chrysanthemum species were examined with light and scanning electron microscope. The pollen grains having tricolporate and echinate were suboblate. On the basic of the frequency of connected pores and of spines, pollen grains of Chrysanthemum morifolium were well distinguished from pollen grain of C. zawadskii var. latilobum and assumed to be distinguished from the cultivars of C. morifolium themselves. Chrysanthemum morifolium 'Shimkyung' selected from C. morifolium 'Janwol', according to the pore types and the number of spines, were resembled to the character of surface sculpture each other. Also, C. morifolium 'Namjun', and C. morifolium 'Hyungwol' selected from C. morifolium 'Aengii' assumed to be resembled to the character of the surface among sculptures themselves
