Parasite management means parasite avoidance. Management decisions on pasture rotation must be based on synthesis of feed quality and parasite larvae numbers. This is in contrast to conventional farmers who base their management decisions on feed quality alone and let drenches take care of parasites. In the future, if the reliance on drenches is to be reduced, management to avoid parasitism must become part of the management decision
