It has been found that total water consumption by plants of potato, wheat, barley, sugar beet, leaf beet, corn, tomato, cucumber, cauliflower and pumpkin ranges from 132 to 977 mm, at the transpiration coefficient between 83 and 303. The dependence between the water consumption by potato plants and the fresh weight of bulbs and dry weight of whole plants, as a function of weather, pH of nutrient solution and intensity of fertilization, is square
