The important role that transformations of the incidence matrices play in the theory of constructions of the row-and-column designs is well known, but their usefulness seems not have been fully exploited. In this paper some methods of transformations and properties of some row-and-column designs with adjusted orthogonality are described. Each method is illustrated by the example
