Effect of plant density on performance of four groundnut cultivars in Tanzania

Low yields in 1987 were due to drought and the unsuitable soil at the site. The number of pods/plant decreased with increasing plant density. Number of seeds/pod did not differ significantly among cultivars or densities. Seed size was different among cultivars, but not among the plant densities
