Training in agribusiness
1986
Bridget, P.
This paper presented by a post graduate student from Purdue University considers the role of the agribusiness manager and the content of a training programme. A sound agribusiness programme, according to the author, should include: personnel management, financial management, marketing management, accounting, a basic background in agriculture and basic economic principles. An inter-departmental approach to agribusiness training may be the most valid way of developing a program, especially when resources are limiting.
