The establishment of the Auditing Services in the Uganda Cooperative Alliance Limited is discussed. The major objective of these services is to reverse the weak cooperative financial management, accountability and resource utilization situation so as to strengthen both accounting and internal control systems and improve bussiness in the Cooperative Movement. The work that the Auditing Services are carrying out in order to fulfill this objective is outlined.
