The paper states that the international trade of goods shows a growing trend of exporting fruit, vegetables and the processed goods from Yugoslavia, especially to developed countries. Fruit and vegetable growing tend to increase though with certain differences among particular kinds of products and even a decrease of growing plums and potatoes. The processing of fruit and vegetables is characterised by a very high growth rate with positive trends in changing the structure of production. Export of fruit, vegetables and the processed goods had a high growth rate in the period from 1976 till 1986 thus surpassing the growth of production to a considerable extent.
