1. Speed of worm multiplication, simplicity of their breeding and chemical body composition promise their use as rich protein sources in the industrial livestock feed production. 2. With 63% of raw proteins in dry matter, dehydrated worm meal is one of the components of industrial feeds with the highest content of raw proteins. 3. Essential amino acid are of special value in dehydrated worm meal, especially in lysine content with 55,9 kg of Ivsine (ton of meal, while the same fish meal mass contains 47 kg, meat meal 28,1. soybean shot 32,4 and maize only 2,5 kg of lysine) ton. 4. Dehydrated worm meal is only lower in glycine and histidine compared to meat meal and in isoleucine and histidine contents compared to soybean shot.
