[Results of a study of the efficiency of herbicides in maize crops in Zemun Polje [Yugoslavia]]

This is a study of the efficiency and effect of herbicides on maize crops, as well as their effect on the plant growth. All of the studied herbicides demonstrated high efficiency and a wide range of effects, decreasing the number of weed species, individual plants and the weed mass per unit of area. In the agroecological conditions of Zemun Polje (Yugoslavia), the application of the preparation "Primanet" in the phase of three leaves had a depressive effect on the maize plants. The studied herbicides enabled high yields.
