In the period after reclamation. Popovo Polje in Bosnia and Hercegovina (Yugoslavia), where hydrotechnical and agrotechnical reclamation was carried out on an area of approximately 1000 ha, was observed for unfavourable changes. It was found that several unfavourable processes were taking place in the carbonate soil of this field: heterogenicity of the ploughed surfaces of the soil, increased content of active calcium and more intensive processes of Eolian erosin (deflation). Three years after planting the peaches, symptoms of iron chlorosis were very evident.
