By combining silage of different feed with grape and apple pomace, better quality silage is obtained than if grape and apple pomace are ensiled without the addition of other feed. Silage with grape pomace had more buttery acid and a higher pH value than silage with apple pomace. An increase of the portion of fresh beet pulps in the ensiled mass caused a decrease in the pH value and an increase in the concentration of lactic acid.
