Sunflower crude oil quality

The paper examines differences between the quality of pressed and extracted crude oil produced from domestic , sunflower hybrids. It has been observed that there are no significant differences between the FFA content in the pressed and extracted crude oil, nor in the seed oil. However, there is a significant difference between the content of primary oxidation products in the pressed oil on the one hand and the extracted oil and peeled material on the other. There are also significant differences in the contents of phosphatides and unsaponificables between the pressed and extracted oil with the given content of the remaining oil in crushed oil seeds.
