Manojlovic, B. (Instut za zastitu bilja, Beograd (Yugoslavia))
In this study, it was determined that the grain size of wheat and maize, i.e. the quantity of available food, has a direct effect on the significant damage caused by the grain moth caterpillars. The survival of grain moths directly depends on the quantity of food and the size of the area available to the caterpillars, which was clearly reflected in the fertility of the studied pest.
