[Some pomologic properties of peach varieties in the conditions of Titograd [Yugoslavia]]

On the basis of the results obtained, the following can be concluded: the average distance among flowers on the investigated bearing branchlets ranges from 2.1 cm with the Cardinal variety to 4.3 cm with the Sunhigh variety; the greatest number of preserved fruits is with the Fertilija Moretini (57.1%) and the smallest with the Cardinal variety (23%); among all the investigated varieties, the highest bearing potential was found with the Collins variety (22,800 kg/ha) and the lowest with the Farli Coronet (11.600 kg/ha); on the basis of the share of the 1st class fruits and percentage of the soluble dry substances, The Regina and Coronet varieties produce the highest-quality fruits.
