Effect of rhizobium inoculation on growth and yield of soybean and groundnut [in Bangladesh]
1990
Hoque, M.S. | Jahiruddin, M.
During 1988-89 three field experiments of which two with soybean and one with groundnut were carried out at BAU farm. The experiments were aimed at screening and selecting the most effective Rhizobium strain for inoculum production. Data were recorded on various crop parameters such as nodule number, nodule weight, root weight, shoot weight and grain yield of both soybean and groundnut. Of all the 10 strains used, BAU 107 showed best performance in the soybean trials. In case of groundnut among the 6 strains tested, BAU 700 gave superior results.
