Correlates of yield of crops of the contact farmers under Krisak Samabay Samity of [Farmers' Cooperative Society of Bangladesh] Muktagacha Upazila

The purpose of the study was to determine the correlates of yield of boro crop of the contact farmers (CFs) under Krishak Samabay Samities (KSSs) of Muktagacha. Data were obtained from 100 CFs of randomly selected 22 KSSs. Eight variables namely, age, education, family size, farm size, income, organizational participation, material possession, and agricultural knowledge of the CFs were correlated with their yield of boro crop. The relationships of only three variables, namely, income, education, and agricultural knowledge were positively significant. The other five variables did not have any relationship with yield of crop.
