Instars, pre-pupa, and a distinct pupal stage were recorded. The larva passes 3.0, 3.0, 3.0-4.0, 3.0-4.0 and 3.0-4.0 days in Kst, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th instars respectively. The duration of the pre-pupa is 2.0 days. The adult emerges from the pupa within 5.0-6.0 days. Mating for 2.0-5.0 hours. Number of eggs in an eggcase ranged from 2-18 and 2-12, larvae were found to hatch from an eggmass. The incubation period was recorded as 6.0-7.0 days. The beetle completed its development in 22-26 days.
