[Evaluation of protection alternatives of a watershed of mining use Quimavida sixth region]

This study was carried out in a 136.1 hectare micro watershed located at 628 meters above sea level, where mining activities are developed. In 1987 the watershed by a landslide with great fall of materials in its influence area. Protection alternatives feasible for application, are evaluated as a result of a plant where watershed users have a capital participation. Based on combined technical alternative, 240 projects are developed, plus the "without project" option. Costs, environmental impacts and social effects of such projects were standardized so as to determine non dimensional measures for each one and to compare attributes among them. The ponderers of costs, environmental impacts and social effects, were determined by investigations. A prediction model was applied to determine the "Value" of each alternative project
