[Design and elaboration of a database to analize the reproductive behaviour and the index of mortality in a herd of beef cattle]

The main objetive of this thesis was to elaborate data to analize behavior and mortality index in a herd of cattle. The functioning of this system depends on the data base corresponding to the records of the experimental herd at Rinconada de Maipu (University of Chile) for the genetic line called pure breeding (PPC) compelling 4100 records. The acquired level in the evaluation of mortality and breeding parameters were good and moderate as per the international scale of Alba (1985)
