Effect of parent material and topography on soil fertility, 1: The Cisampora-Sumberagung Estate, West Jawa (Indonesia)

英语. Complex geologic composition and hilly topography occupy most of the Southern Mountain physiography of Java, especially in the southern area of West Java. It seems that the soils associated with this environment are mostly controlled by parent material and topography more than the other soil forming factors. Eight pedons, five from the Cisampora Estate and the rest from the Sumberagung Estate., were sampled to determine the effect of those two factors on fertility of the soils. Based on the macromorphological data, most of the soils studied met the criteria for Latosol of the 1961 Soepraptohardjo's classification system, although some evidence was still present indicating its development from Andosol. In contrast, using selected physico-chemical properties and the presence of genetic horizon, most of the soils belong to Utisol order of each soil type is more likely dependent upon topography and parent material for those in the Cisampora and Sumberagung Estates, respectively

印度尼西亚. Komposisi geologi yang kompleks dan topografi yang berbukit mendominasi daerah Pegunungan Selatan pulau Jawa, khususnya di sebelah selatan Jawa Barat. Terdapat petunjuk bahwa jenis tanah yang terbentuk di daerah tersebut ditentukan lebih banyak oleh keragaman dua faktor tersebut daripada oleh faktor pembentuk tanah lainnya. Delapan pedon, lima dari Kebun Cisampora dan tiga dari Kebun Sumberagung, diambil untuk mempelajari pengaruh bahan induk tanah dan topografi terhadap tingkat kesuburan tanahnya. Atas dasar data morfologi makro, jenis tanah di daerah tersebut sebagian besar tergolong Latosol menurut sistim klasifikasi Soepraptohardjo tahun 1961, walaupun tanda-tanda peralihannya dari Andosol masih tampak. Sebaliknya, menurut data beberapa sifat fisiko-kimia dan horison penentu, dalam Taksonomi Tanah 1987 tanah tersebut sebagaian besar tergolong ordo Ultisol. Sesuai dengan sebarannya, tingkat kesuburan tanah-tanah di Kebun Cisampora ditentukan lebih banyak oleh faktor topografi, sedang yang di Kebun Sumberagung lebih banyak oleh faktor topografi, sedang yang di Kebun Sumberagung lebih banyak oleh faktor bahan induk daripada faktor pembentuk tanah lainnya.
