Four techniques of induced spawning in fish, i.e induced natural spawning without hormone administration, hormone induced spawning, homoplastic hypophysation using crude fresh pituitary extracts and stripping method were tried on the mudfish, Clarias anguillaris, with a view to establishing a method for mass fingerling production.
