Effect of foliar application with molybdenum on the yielding of pea cultivars

The experiments involved 2 variable factors in "split-plot" system. The effect of foliar application with molybdenum applied in 2 developmental stages, on the development and yielding of 4 pea cultivars was examined. Feeding with molybdenum in the stage of 5-6 leaves appeared to exert a favourable influence on the number of flowers and pods on a plant, the yield of seeds, total protein and oat units. Genetic properties of the cultivars tested would significantly differentiate the numerical values of morphological featur the yield of seeds and straw, the content of protein and the efficiency of oat units and protein. The highest yields of seeds, oat units and protein totally were obtained from the Ramir cultivar, which distinguished itself by the highest number of pods on a plant and seeds in pods. The highest content of total protein in seeds and straw was found in the Koral cultivar
