Effects of pelletized diets containing various levels of protein on growth and survival of Climbing Perch, Anabas testudineus (Bloch) were studied at the Department of Agriculture, faculty of Fisheries, kasetsart University, bangkok. Fish of the average weight of 0.693 g were reared in twelve 2-t circular tanks with stocking density of 500 fish per tank for 16 weeks. Four diets of 26.24, 31.48, 37.15 and 40.10 % protein content were used. The fish was fed twice daily at the rates of 12,10,8,6,5,4,3 and 3 % of fish body weight for the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th and 15th weeks respectively. The daily feeding allowance was adjusted every two weeks. At the end of the experiment, there were non significant differences among the four test diets in average weight, weight gains and food conversion ratios and significant difference in survival rates but highly significant difference in protein efficiency ratio. Pelletized diet containing protein of 37.15 % produced the best growth and survival rate.
