The investigations carried out have proved the following: by mixing, the soil is homogenized which contributes to equal development of crops and equal resistance of machines and tools used in the basic tillage; at lower speed (2.35 km/h) plough bottom exerts pressure upon the soil; according to the investigations, ploughing of spring crops should be carried out in autumn; at higher speeds (3.46 and 4.52 km/h) the acceleration of particles and their throwing forward and aside is greater thus forming an elongated section; ploughing at higher speed is recommended for pre-sowing ploughing.
