Fertilization increased substantially four-year average grain yield. Yield was doubled by effect of nitrogen, further significantly increased by phosphorus, and potassium gave a nonsignificant increase. The quality of grain and flour was substantially improved by fertilization too. Nitrogen fertilization increased the grain protein content for 30.3-40.9%, protein yield for 2.6-2.8 times, and doubled the value of flour sedimentation. Phosphorus expressed a slight depressive effect on protein content and flour sedimentation, and a positive one on protein yield. Potassium showed a positive effect on quality. The applied nutrients caused insignificant changes in percentage on flour in grain, while increased significantly the mass of 1000 grains, phosphorus and potassium in particular.
