The analysis of 11 pairs of the heterosexual twins has revealed the chimerism of XY sex chromosomes in the lymphocytes of these animals. The percentage of the detected lymphocytes varied from 8 to 90%. Using statistical methods a correlation was calculated between lymphocytes with XY sex chromosomes in male and female membres of the heterosexual twin pairs. However, correlation coefficient proved so negligible (r=-0.09) that it led to the conclusion that there was no correlation of the number of lymphocytes with XY sex chromosomes in heterosexual pairs of twins. This finding can be explained by a selective dominance of the host over the guest cells in most pairs of the examined heterosexual twins.
