Time minimization in agricultural products transportation

Agricultural enterprises produce various agricultural products -- fruit, meat and vegetables. Within this group of agricultural products there is a sub-group of perishable articles (fruit and vegetables), for which duration of transportation is of vital importance. In Yugoslav practice the duration of transportation as a primary criterion has not been given the appropriate attention until now. In this article the Hammer's method for solving the transportation problems is demonstrated. Two criteria are used: the minimum transportation time and the minimum quantity of good that can be transported in the last minute.
