New insecticides in the protection of emerging sugar beet

A review of the insecticides for dressing the sugar beet seeds and their biological activity in comparison with their post-emergent spraying application is presented. According to the results of small plot testing, insecticide seed dressing remains the most effective and the cheapest protection, especially against soil pests.
