Measurements of the rate of release of non-exchangeable potassium in the soil suspensions using consecutive extraction with calcium-saturated cation exchange resin

The amounts of exchangeable potassium and the rate of release of nonexchangeable potassium were measured on four soils from England and Greece, two soils from each Country, using a calcium - saturated cation exchange resin. The four clay soils contained various amounts of exchangeable potassium (surface k). The modified Ca - resin method can be used to characterize the long-term potassium release properties of soils.
