The aim of this study is to evaluate the distribution of total zinc in soil profiles and its content in various soil fractions and to evaluate the fertility status of zinc by measuring the available zinc by using some chemical extractants which are suitable to Iraqi soils and also studying the plant response to zinc additions by using corn plant the samples were analyzed for their chemical and physical properties
