The technological value of wheat grain (Gama variety) was investigated in relation to the years of growing and condition. Generally, the quality of wheat hardly changed in the different years of growing. The leaf feeding had no effect on the backing value of wheat, which was rather higher in commercial grain of some variety. It is also found that protein content and sedimentation value (Zeleny test) were more useful in wheat testing than gluten content
