Fungicide evaluation for the control of late apple scab

The research on the control of late apple scab was carried out in 3 experiment stations. Fruit with apple scab spots put into storage always demonstrated a development of the disease. Most of tested fungicides applied 2 or 4 weeks before fruit harvest restricted disease development, but this effect varied from season to season. The most reliable fungicides appeared to be: Delan SC 750 (dithianon) and Kaptan (captan)
