Five feeding experiments were carried out on a total of 136 Black-and-White cows, aimed at estimating feed rations with various proportions of nitrogen compounds which supplemented protein in dehydrated whole corn plants or given in the form of meal. Studies were also conducted on the effect of supplement of dehydrated sugar beets and crushed barley on the ultrafiltration of the urea-mineral concentrate Walczan, extruded feed or pelleted urea.
