Variability in soluble protein content in kernels of nuts obtained from different seedlings (Juglans regia L.)

The soluble protein content in kernels of the walnuts seedling growing under midhill conditions ranged from 0.95 to 2.50 percent whereas it varied from 1.30 to 6.00 percent in the kernels of walnuts growing under dry temperate conditions. The coefficient of variation in the former case was 20.57 percent and in the later one 41.91 percent
