The frequency of different mutations affecting maturity period and floral and seed characteristics induced by varying doses of EMS and DES in Vicia faba L. was determined. Mutations affecting days to flowering, size, color and number of flowers/node, and their M3 breeding behavior are reported. A dose-dependent increase in the frequency of such mutations was observed for both mutagens
