The distribution and host range of 31 species and infraspecific taxa of parasitic angiosperms belonging to 7 families in Saudi Arabia are reviewed. Most of these parasitic plants, especially members of Loranthaceae, Orobanchaceae and Scrophulariaceae are confined to the Southern regions
