Study was carried out during the year of 1985 to promote edible and interesting Thai fungi. Fresh specimens were collected, photographed and recorded. These macrofungi were made into colored slides and dried specimens, then identified. Only five of them were identified as: Agaricus campestris L. ex Fr., Bulgaria globosum Fr., Volvariella bombycina (Schaff. ex Fr.) Sing., Polyporellus squamosus (Fr.) Karst. and Laetiporus sulphureus (Fr.) Bond. et. Sing. According to the investigator, they were new species in Thailand, but have long been distributed world-wide especially in the tropics
