Organic fertilizer has shown a prominent role in qualitative soil development and soil biochemical and physical properties changes. It reduces the population of soil-borne plant pathogens, especially M. phaseolina population. The plant pathogen population as well as charcoal rot disease percentage were decreased by the application of conventional and microbial composts. Furthermore, the amount of plant pathogen and charcoal rot disease percentage in microbial compost utilization were lower than in conventional compost application.
