[Penaeus monodon culture with pellets feed]

Experiment on intensive mono-culture of Penaeus monodon fed with artificial pellets was conducted in 638 sq. meter earthen pond for 117 days with stocking rate of 18 larvae (P17)/sq. meter or total stocking number of 11,250. The survival rate was 53.3 % with the production of 86.93 kg which comprised of 67.74 kg large shrimps and 19.19 kg small shrimp.
