Compatibility of diafenthiuron and Bacillus thuringiensis and Cotesia plutellae for diamondback moth management
1994
Rejesus, B.M. | Obra, J.B. | Saavedra, N.T. | Calderon, J.I.
The two field trials showed that Bacillus thuringiensis, diafenthiuron and profenofos were more effective against DBM [diamondback moth] than cartap. The Bt's and diafenthiuron were less harmful to Cotesia as shown by higher number of developed Cotesia cocoons (45%) than profenofos and cartap (37%). All insecticidal treatments gave higher yield of cabbage compared to the control. Although diafenthiuron and the Bt's gave slightly lower yield than profenofos, they are compatible with Cotesia in the management of DBM
