Effect of age on yield and quality of geese meat

An experiment on geese slaughtered between 1 day and 30 weeks of life was carried out. The yield of edible parts in carcasses ranged between 57.0 and 81.3 percent. The significant effect on meat fat content but not on meat protein content in geese was stated
