Effect of some herbicides on weed control and yield of celeriac (Apium graveolens L. var. rapaceum (Mill.) DC)

The field experiments were conducted on influence of herbicides for broadleaves weed control (linuron, flurochloridon) and for grass weed control (metolachlor, fluazifop P-butyl, haloxyfop, quizalofop-P-ethyl, cycloxydim). The results of the experiments proved that flurochloridon can be applied immediately and 9-17 days post transplanting too. The mixtures; flurochloridon + metolachlor - immediately post transplanting and flurochloridon + linuron - 9-17 days post transplanting can be used for weed control in celeriac as well. The mixtures of linuron with fluazifop, haloxyfop, cycloxydim and quizalofop applied 3 weeks post transplanting gave good grass and broadleaved the weed control.
